Before deployment

Before communicating about the deployment of Primo to your teams, find the article Introduction au Mobile Device Management (MDM) explaining what an MDM is, what it's used for, and why it's important for your company.

Proposed timeline

Here's an example of a deployment timeline. We recommend giving clear deadlines to your employees to ensure an efficient deployment that doesn't drag on.

  • Week 1:
    • Monday:
      • Communication email and/or Slack or Teams communication message
      • Sending enrollment invitations from the Primo cockpit
    • Wednesday: verification of the first enrollments (see Installation Tracking section)
    • Friday: Slack / Teams installation reminder
  • Week 2:
    • Monday: automatic reminder of the invitation sent by Primo
    • Wednesday: email reminder to latecomers
    • Friday: final reminder if needed

Track Primo installation

From your cockpit, in the "Employee" tab, you have 2 filters allowing you to track the deployment of Primo:

  • Enrolled: employees who have installed Primo on their machine
  • To Enroll: employees who have not yet proceeded with the installation

  • Hard drive encryption and recovery key storage.
